Have you heard of Stuff A Buddy TX? It is a small, family-owned business right here in Mansfield, TX that allows children to choose their own buddy to stuff and make their own.
My 5-year-old deliberated for quite some time over which buddy was perfect for her and finally chose this soft and magical little unicorn.
Stuff A Buddy's come with their own special carrying case, the unstuffed buddy, a large package of stuffing, a heart, and a birth certificate. The directions are super easy to follow, and the head is already stuffed, which makes it a lot easier for little hands.
The stuffing is extremely soft, and makes you just want to play with it all day! Even big sister got involved in handing little sis the stuffing (and playing with it, too).
I loved watching my little ones look of amazement as she stuffed the legs and saw her buddy come to life. And I loved that it was easy enough for her to do almost all by herself. I ended up stuffing the last bit of stuffing in because she couldn't make it fit. It is a lot of stuffing, but it all fits perfectly and makes the buddy super huggable.
I was also worried about whether I would have to sew it up when we were done (because let's be honest, sewing is NOT my strong suit), but there is a nice little zipper that closes the stuffing hole, and then velcro that keeps it shut. My 5-year-old was even able to close it up almost by herself, but not before giving her unicorn's heart a big kiss and placing it in her buddy for the final touch.
She named her new buddy "Purple Shine Unicorn" and I filled out her new buddy's birth certificate.
All of my other kids are already asking when they can get a buddy of their own to stuff. And my 5-year-old has been carrying her buddy around with her everywhere all week.

The birthday party options are exciting to us as well, and probably what we will be doing for our next birthday party! I'm sure my daughter and her friends would love stuffing their own buddies, plus it will provide the entertainment and the goodie bags all in one!
